And if HE DOES have the ability to do the above, he'll have the FBI on his ass, and a lot more to worry about than a banning.

I just met him, he did indeed crash me.

He also asked to me tell you guys a few things... now I hate being a messenger boy for a hacker but I will tell you anyway.

I took screenshots, but what the hell I don't need them to relay what he said.

Apparently he doesn't want to break GW, he just doesn't understand why the 117 were banned when the exploit (and many many others) are still there. He can spawn into instances, crash people, etc. According to him, the game is very exploitable and people shouldn't be banned when anet make it this easy to hack.

Alright, there it is. He can indeed crash a client. Can he do all the other things he said? I don't know. Now anet looks bad, GW is very much hackable when they once said it wasn't.

The 1337 could easily just be texmod setup. As we all know we can do all sorts of fun stuff with it. You can change all sorts of images to things you would prefer them to be. so the 1337 crap is nonsense and is NOT the same format as the current morale boost stuff. As for his "hacking" others are indeed correct that he is causing a buffer overflow making your client crash. It is an exploit that allows more information into the space that was allotted for it causing it to crash. This is unfort a common type of exploit in alot of programs. It definitely needs to be reported to anet and send the crash logs in as well as they may be able to decipher which hole he is poking into.

Out of memory is one of the errors thrown on buffer overflows - no1 'tool' of all 'hacks'.

The criminal who robs the bank doesn't understand why he has to go to jail. The guy apparently is just like the others who screamed they were oh-so-innocent when the 117 first occured. They didn't know it was a hack, didn't know it was an exploit, didn't know there was anything wrong, it's all Anets fault, it was my brother.....

I said it in that post and I'll say it here. If someone is willing to go this far, right now, openly guilty of doing something illegal, why should I ever believe the 117 weren't capable either? Gee gosh dolly darnit Sir, I have no idea why the 117 were banned. I mean, I can't for the life of me see anything wrong at all even though you're now resorting to crashing people and making threats of making areas unplayable....

Get caught doing something wrong once, a normal person would correct themselves. Get caught and then try something similar to get your record clear? The poster child of our Educational system.

His second ban will come. As for the FBI thing, gosh, I hope that day would come true. Then Mom and Daddy can see what the kiddo really does on the computer. I'd pay $25 admission just to see that show.
